Taking care of business introduction

Taking care of business introduction

This brief is an excellent opportunity to begin collaborating and joining skillets and merging ideas together to crete more diverse work and informed work that can appeal to different target audiences and produce work within varying design sectors other than my current branding focus.

Overall this will give me more diverse work for my portfolio and shows I can work in a team as well as solo, both equally important traits.

Our business is made up of me, Elliot Brodowski, Neill Gilchrist & Joe Aukland a small group but with varying skill sets. A small start up business like this would normally be between 2 to 4 maximum so this is ideal.

What we have so far
The diverse skill sets between us and different ways of thinking will allow us to fully explore all areas and create a range of ideas to refine from and combine together to create very informed work.

The vision of the business is to be a well recognized branding agency noted for its multidisciplinary design approach to diverse branding outcomes.

The purpose of the business is to create sustainable outcomes that are not trend driven, there conceptually relevant to clients services and connect well with the target audience through branding, advertising and editorial design.

The tone of voice will be personal yet formal to allow us to maintain a professional image but avoid corporate seriousness.

Our unique selling point is the diverse skill & mindsets that pool together to cover all potential areas a client would need within a piece of design work or a brand image.

We are starting up to offer new start up business & small organizations mainly local so we can maintain good first hand communication with the clients. We see a lack in the creative industry within designers and agencies offering trend driven design with no real purpose and no sustainability, the client comes first so we want to offer our diverse skill & mind sets to create work that resonates well with the target audience in effective and interactive ways.

We see 3 months as a realistic time frame for getting the groundworks down for the startup of things, these been the branding & brand identity with advertising collateral, legal documentations, financial aspects like costings (outgoings & income) and how this resonates with the hourly rate the business will operate from.
